Société Pétrolière was founded in 1998 with a clear mission: to ensure every Rwandan from the capital to the most remote district has reliable access to quality fuel and energy products.
Over the years, we have grown into Rwanda's most trusted energy company operating 60+ stations, the country's largest LPG provider, and pioneering EV infrastructure in partnership with Ampersand and Kabisa.
Our stations are more than fuel stops. They are community hubs run by local entrepreneurs, employing from the community, and investing in the neighbourhoods they serve.
Beyond Rwanda, SP operates in Tanzania and Kenya through wholly owned subsidiaries, extending our footprint in the Great Lakes region.
